Zari Hassan came back to it in a private interview with her eldest son named Rafael, which took place on September 16, 2024. In this interview, Zari talked about how her two husbands treated her while they were living together.
Zari Hassan married Ivan Semwanga, her first husband, and they had three sons. He had returned to the point where Ivan Semwanga was trying to get him whatever he needed regardless of the cost.
Talking to her son Raphael, Zari said, "My father didn't bother me. My father gave me a lot of money and when I needed a new car or told him I liked that car, he said: 'I liked it' and I said 'yes' the next day he bought it."
He continued to say that he still did not fully understand, if the way Ivan Semwanga lost his wealth, it was a way of showing him love.
He said, "My father did a lot for me but I still wonder if it was his way of showing love, or if he had a lot of money to spend as he pleased."
Zari went on to talk about her second husband Diamond Platinumz, a popular singer in Tanzania, who she said is a very emotional person who knows how to make a lot of noise.
She said: "She was a great cook, everyone could see it. She loved being around me, she gave me beautiful flowers, I usually appreciate it more when someone does little things for me than big gifts."
Zari Hassan has five children with two husbands, Ivan Semwanga with 3 sons and Diamond Platinumz with 1 son and 1 daughter. Now Zari Hassan has a third husband named Shakib Lutaaya with whom they have no children.
