This coach, who raised many players who reached the heights of football in Rwanda, had been in Gisenyi hospital for some time. She was first diagnosed in April 2023 when she was suffering from kidney disease, anemia and hepatitis C until leaving the house became a serious problem.
It was a difficult illness for him because it was changing because sometimes one leg was 'paralysed', other times it was swollen.
His hands were played by many players such as Niyonzima Haruna and Tuyisenge Jacques without clubs, Bizimana Djihad of Kryvbas, Hakizimana Muhadjiri of Police FC, Nizeyimana Mirafa [who played for clubs including Police FC and Zanaco FC], Manizabayo Florence who played for Rayon Sports Women and many others mainly from Rubavu.
