Singer DAVID Adedeji Adeleke popularly known as Davido from Nigeria, spoke to many on social media after calling himself the King of Nigeria, when he met the Prince of Saudi Arabia, while traveling in Paris.

It is in a video that appeared on social media on September 5, 2024, when Davido was seen walking in the streets of Paris. So he met his fan and took a picture, and that fan told him that he was the Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Davido replied, "I am the King of Nigeria."

Davido who often calls himself 'Baddest' is one of the leading artists in Nigerian music, and one of the people who made the Afrobeat Music that originated in Nigeria popular around the world. As a result of his concerts, he travels to different continents of the world, including America, Europe and Asia.

Davido has won 69 awards since he started music. It includes international awards such as: Grammy Award, BET Awards, Channel O Music Video Awards and MTV Africa Music Awards and others. In this year 2024, Davido competed in 3 categories at the 66th Grammy Award.

Many are saying that Davido called himself the King of Nigeria in order to prove that he is the biggest artist in the country, and to provoke his rivals.
