Davido became the first African artist to feature in the FIFA World Cup theme song Hayya Hayya for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where Davido joined other artists including Cardona, Trinidad, and Aisha.
The artist has also collaborated with a major German company called PUMA, which already produces some sports equipment including clothes, shoes, footballs, etc. Davido signed a collaboration agreement with this company in 2022.
Davido's songs have been featured in international films including Queen Of Katwe (2016) and Coming to America II (2020).
Davido became the first artist in Africa to win the BET award, he received this award which is one of the biggest in the world in 2018, and he also got the opportunity to perform at the event, he took the opportunity to ask his fans and artists from America to visit Africa and come eating African food.
Davido was listed on the Forbes Africa Under 30 list of top performers in 2018 and 2021 as the number one African brand.
He became the first African to win a MOBO Award in November 2017, Davido won the 'Best African Act' award alongside Tekno, Mr Eazi, Tiwa Savage, Maleek Berry, Wizkid and Wande Coal.
Davido became the youngest artist to fill the O2 Arena building, in January 2019, Davido is 26 years old when he filled the UK's O2 Arena building which has a capacity of over 20,000.
Davido's song featuring Chris Brown from the United States of America has become the first Nigerian song to get over two million views in 24 hours on YouTube.
In December 2018, Davido's song 'Fall' surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, making him the first Nigerian to do so. He also won gold in America and Canada in 2020 for his song 'Fall'.
Davido has won more than 40 awards, making him a superstar artist in Africa and the world at large.
