Eddy Kenzo was born on December 25, 1989 in Masaka, Uganda. Mr. Eddy Kenzo lived a difficult life when he was a child, because he lost his mother when he was four years old, which made him grow up in a difficult life, living in the streets of Masaka and Kampala, until he was 13 years old.
Despite going through a difficult life, Eddy Kenzo dreamed of becoming a professional soccer player. When Eddy Kenzo was nine years old, he joined Masaka Local Council FC. His talent for playing football earned him a free tuition (burse) at Lubiri Secondary School in Kampala.
Eddy Kenzo was in high school when he began to feel the talent of singing, which made him stop playing football and dedicate himself to music.

Eddy Kenzo broke into music in 2008 when he released his first single titled "Yannimba," featuring Mikie Wine, but it was not a hit. In 2010, Eddy Kenzo released his hit song "Stamina," which made him celebrity in Uganda and East Africa.
Eddy Kenzo became known internationally in 2014 with the release of a song called "Sitya Loss". This song opened doors for him around the world. The video of this song became popular on the YouTube , because of the children who appear in it dancing known as Ghetto kids. This is a popular song. and various celebrities in the world including the great rapper from the United States of America named Sean Combs (P. Diddy).
Eddy Kenzo not only continued to make music, he became a mentor to artists and a producer. Eddy Kenzo also founded an artistes support in Labber called Big Talent Entertainment through which various artistes including Rema Namakula, Azawi, and Pia Pounds.

In 2022, Kenzo made history as the first Ugandan and East African artist to compete at the Grammy Awards, where he appeared in the Best Global Performance Category for his song "Gimme Love" featuring American artist named Matt B.
He won another Award called "Viewer's Choice Best New International Artist" award at the BET Awards in June 2015. Eddy Kenzo won another award in March 2018, the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award.

Eddy Kenzo is now happy after he was trusted by the President of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and made him the President's chief adviser on the cultural industry.
Eddy Kenzo already has other responsibilities in Ugandan music at the national level where he leads the union of artists in the country of Uganda.
Eddy Kenzo's girlfriend, Fiona Nyamutoro works in the national government as a permanent secretary in the Ministry of Energy and Development and Minerals.
On he social media platform Through to X Fiona Nyamutoro expressed her appreciation for what her lover has achieved, she said "I am proud of you as always my Love."
Eddy Kenzo since he started music in 2008 has released six albums namely: Sitya Loss, Zero to Hero, Biology, Roots, Made in Africa and Blessings. Eddy Kenzo's journey is a testament to perseverance and hard work.
