Bayern Leverkusen player Victor Boniface survived a serious accident.

Nigerian footballer Victor Boniface was involved in a serious car accident after a match in which he scored the winning goal for his team, Bayern Leverkusen, in a 2-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in the league.

The 23-year-old shared photos and videos on his social media accounts, showing the extent of the damage to his car, which was severely wrecked, and revealed that he had sustained injuries on his hands. Boniface wrote, “God is great because He saved me.”

Following the accident, Boniface was taken to the hospital for treatment on Saturday. However, according to the German newspaper Bild, as reported by Spectes, Boniface was not the driver at the time of the accident, and the report confirmed that he is currently in good condition.

On Saturday, Boniface played a crucial role in Bayern Leverkusen’s victory by scoring the winning goal in the 71st minute.

So far in the 2024-2025 season, Victor Boniface has played 9 matches, scoring 6 goals and providing one assist.
