The tournament started on Monday, September 23, 2024, and will end on October 6, 2024. This international tournament 'ITF World Tennis Tour' was attended by 32 players from different countries around the world, playing as professionals. In this competition, approximately 30 million Frw will be awarded as prizes.

It marked the first and second day of the Rwanda OpenM25

On the first day of the tournament there were eight head-to-head matches. The first Rwandan named Claude Ishimwe, but he was not blessed because he was in the first round, he was defeated by the Italian Denis Constantin in two free sets 6-0, 6-0.

Iradukunda Guy Orly who had reached the 1/2 last year performed well and beat Schachter in two free sets (2) 6-3 6-4. While Oliver Crawford is number 190 in the world, who is also the best participant in this tournament, he defeated Juan Jose Bianci in two straight sets 6-4 6-4 in the first round.

The second day of the Rwanda OpenM25 also did not distinguish two Rwandans, Joshua Muhire and Niyigena Etienne, because at the beginning, Muhire Joshua was defeated by the American Pranav Kumar in two straight sets 6-0 6-1, while Niyigena Etienne was defeated by the American Preston Brown. (2) 7-5 6-2.

As for the two players, Benjamin Lock and John Lock from Zimbabwe defeated two Rwandans David Manzi Rwamucyo and Manishimwe Emmanuel set (2) 6-2 6-0.

What made Oliver Crawford number one in this year's Rwanda Open M25 come out unbeaten.

It was a match that was supposed to bring together two giants Olivier Crawford and Guy Orly, because in 2023 they met and Oliver Crawford beat Guy 6-1, 6-0. The two met again on Day 2 of the tournament and when Oliver Crawford won the first set 7-6 he suffered a back problem and withdrew from the tournament, giving Guy another chance to reach the quarterfinals.

The players reached the 1/4 matches in Rwanda Open M25

The 1/4 ticket players include two Frenchmen Denorry Corentin and Bax Florent, two Indians Kalyanapul Adil and Singah Karan, Burundian Iradukunda Guy Orly, Venezuelan Perez Brandon, Italian Manuer Plunger and Max Houkes from the Netherlands.

How the quarterfinals went

Denorry Corentin defeated Perez Brandon 6-4, 7-6 Singhah Karan defeated Guy Orly 6-4, 6-3 Kalyanapul Adil defeated Manuer Plunger 6-3, 6-1. Flolent Bax defeated Max Houkes 7-6 (4) 7-6

The players have reached the semi-finals

The 1/2 ticket players include two Frenchmen namely Denorry Corentin and Bax Florent and two Indians namely Kalyanapul Adil and Singah Karan.
