The complaint filed by the As Muhanga team on May 14, 2024 where they sued the Espoir fc team with two charges, the first complaint was that the Espoir fc team is playing unqualified players, where as Muhanga says that these players have (license) from The junior team includes Barengayabo Abdallah, Biraboneye Aphorodice, Joseph Njanjali and Christian Milembe.
They continue to say that Espoir fc is playing more players than the number of players allowed and they accused it of playing 34 players instead of 30 and they are illegal and they also said that Espoir fc has a player from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) who has 3 different profiles in Fifa Tms and Ferwafa.
In a letter written by Ferwafa management to As Muhanga Club on May 16, 2024, they said, "We rely on Article 26 in the first paragraph of the rules governing competitions in Ferwafa dated 23/11/2020, which determines how the complaint is based on players authorized by "Unauthorized applicants are given a written notice informing us that the complaint does not meet the requirements to be accepted."
As Muhanga finished the second division in 3rd place with 52 points, this made it lose the chance to play the playoffs and will continue to play in the 2nd division next year.
