They started with the woman, who had been given the name "Jane Doe" in the lawsuit for her safety, but a New York court ordered her to reveal her true identity or her file would be thrown out of court, according to TMZ.
Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil said that although the woman's claim is valid, she has not shown any valid reason that her identity should be kept secret, so she should use her real identity.
The woman's lawsuit is one of 120 lawsuits filed by attorney Tony Buzbee, but Judge Mary Kay ordered Jane Doe to provide her identity by 13 November 2024, or her lawsuit would be dismissed. The woman named "Jane Doe" has filed a lawsuit alleging that P Diddy sexually assaulted her 20 years ago when she was 19 years old, but Diddy's lawyers have disputed the claim saying he never molested her.
Diddy, who continues to be accused of crimes, was arrested on 16 September 2024 and is being held in New York on charges of sexual assault. The rapper will go on trial in May 2025.
