Kicukiro District Court sentenced Miss Rwanda 2022 Nshuti Muheto Divine to three months imprisonment suspended for one year and a fine of Rwf 190,000.

On this Wednesday, November 6, 2024, the local court of Kicukiro decided on the charges against Miss Muheto Divine.

Miss Muheto was arrested on charges including 'Driving under the influence of alcohol and without a licence, hit and run, and hit and run.

The prosecution said that Miss Muheto had an accident while leaving the Atelier du Vin bar while driving a KIA car while under the influence of alcohol.

The court found Miss Muheto guilty of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a license. But she also found him guilty of fleeing the scene of an accident.

The court concluded that Miss Muheto was sentenced to imprisonment for three months and a fine of 190,000 Rwf, but the sentence was suspended for one year.

Miss Muheto, who was released, was arrested on October 29, 2024, after the announcement by the Rwandan Police through the former X (Twitter) showing that she was under investigation.

21-year-old Miss Muheto Divine became famous in 2022, when she won the crown of Rwanda Champion 2022 in a ceremony held at Intare Conference Arena.
