This year's star-studded lineup includes The Ben, Juno Kizigenza, Adekunle Gold, and Ariel Wayz, among others. BAL revealed the entertainers for this year's games through its social media channels on Friday, promising a mix of artists and DJs to energize the crowd.
The quarterfinals will feature eight teams: Rivers Hoopers from Nigeria, AS Douanes from Senegal, US Monastir from Tunisia, FUS Rabat from Morocco, Petro De Luanda from Angola, Al Ahly from Egypt, Al Ahly de Benghazi from Libya, and Tigres du Cap from South Africa.
In addition to The Ben, Juno Kizigenza, and Adekunle Gold, the lineup includes Itorero Inganzo Ngari, Kenny Sol, Bwiza, Alyn Sano, Chris Eazy, Ishami Talent, Kivumbi King, Ish Kevin, Kevin Kade, and various DJs. The Ben and Ishami Talent will perform at the grand finale on June 1st.
This marks the fourth consecutive year Rwanda is hosting the BAL finals, thanks to an agreement between the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) and the league's organizers. Unlike previous years, there will be no Rwandan team in the finals, as APR BBC was eliminated in the preliminary rounds.
