The head coach of Rayon Sports Women's Football Club (WFC), Rwaka Claude, has resigned from his position, along with his coaching staff, after going three months without receiving their salaries.

This news broke on the morning of Thursday, March 6, 2025, as Coach Rwaka Claude, along with his assistant, Rudasingwa Florian (also known as Freury), and team manager, Dushimimana Djamila, officially informed the club's management of their resignation.

In their resignation letter, the coaches cited unpaid salaries for the past three months and the fact that they had not received match bonuses for the last five games played.

This development comes as Rayon Sports WFC prepares for their Matchday 20 league fixture against AS Kigali WFC on Saturday.

Problems continue to pile up within the Rayon Sports club, as even in the men’s team, the assistant coach recently left to return home due to family issues.

Despite these challenges, Rayon Sports WFC currently leads the league standings with 44 points, tied with Indahangarwa WFC.
