Mvuyekure François is one of the most renowned figures in Kiyovu Sports, having been involved in its management since the 1980s.
One of his most memorable achievements was the acquisition of Muvara Valens from Burundi in 1982, who became a pivotal player in the history of Rwandan football.
François returned to leadership in 2016 and remained until he was succeeded by Mvukiyehe Juvénal in 2020.
