The national team of Rwanda (Amavubi) drew with Libya, 1-1, in the first day's match in Group D in the search for a ticket to the Africa Cup of Nations held in Tripoli.

It is in the game that took place on Wednesday, September 04, 2024 at the Stadium called 11th June, that ended with the boys of the Rwandan national team getting 1 point in this game.

It's a game where both teams are trying to imitate each other, you see that each team doesn't want to make a mistake, but the Rwandan team goes through and breaks the defense. At the tenth (10) minute, Nshuti Innocent saw the ball in front of the goalkeeper but tried to surprise the goalkeeper and took it away.

The first fifteen minutes of what many call a simulation ended 0-0. Shortly after the sixteenth minute, the Libyan national team scored the first goal against Sobhi, due to the negligence of the Rwandan defenders. It made Libya continue to monopolize the game and the first half ended 1-0.

At the beginning of the second half, at the 47th minute, the Rwandan national team Amavubi scored a goal scored by Nshuti Innocent and later he had scored.

This goal brought the Amavubi back into the game and they continued to pass well in the middle of the pitch. At the same time, the Rwandan coach made a change in the middle of the field, removing Rubanguka Steven and replacing Mugisha Bonheur, soon after removing Mugisha Gilbert and Nshuti Innocent, replacing Ruboneka J Bosco and Mugisha Didier and they continued to struggle but the game ended with a goal of 1-1.

The Rwandan national team Amavubi must immediately return to Rwanda, to prepare for the match of the day in this group where they will play Nigeria on September 10, 2024, at the Amahoro stadium.
