Rwanda's national team will face Djibouti in the CHAN preliminary round

The teams that will meet in CHAN 2024, will be in 2025 in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, leaving Rwanda to meet Djibouti in the preliminary qualifiers, on the road that includes Kenya.

Rwanda will host Djibouti between the 25th and 27th of this month, and the play-offs will be held later this week between the 01-03 of November.

The team will continue between the two and will face the winner between South Sudan and Kenya. While the second qualifying matches will be held between 20-22 and 27-29 December 2024.

The Rwandan national team had not only participated in the last tournament held in Algeria in 2023, but before that the Rwandan national team reached the ¼ of CHAN 2020 held in 2021 in Cameroon.
