It is the final match that took place on Friday evening, September 20, 2024 at the BK Arena.
APR WBBC team started the game well, Kamba Yoro Diakite scored the most points. The first quarter ended leading the game with 24 points to 9 REG WBBC.
In the second quarter, the team continued to play well, Diakite and Ineza Sifa, who recently signed to help them in these games, continued to increase the gap.
On the other hand, the REG WBBC team was hit hard by the game. At the end of the first half APR WBBC continues to lead the game with 46 points to 21 of REG WBBC.
In the third quarter the REG WBBC team came back into the game, Philoxy and Uwitonze Nandy Linda started to score more points. This area ended with REG WBBC winning as 22 points to 14. However APR WBBC continued to lead the game with 60 points to REG WBBC's 43.
In the fourth quarter Kristina Morgan's attack continued to help REG WBBC to perform well in the final quarter but Diakite was not easy. The game ended with APR WBBC defeating REG WBBC 72-59 to win the 'Rwanda Cup 2024' tournament which was played for the first time.
Apart from the fact that it was the final game, these two teams are given the opportunity to meet in the final match of the Rwanda Championship, the winner of the cup is wanted.
