On Tuesday at 03:55 PM, the APR FC team took off from Rwanda at the Kigali airport in Kanombe, passing through Addis Ababa in Ethiopia and Dubai and arriving in Egypt this Wednesday morning.
It is a play-off match because the first match took place on Saturday last week at Stade Amahoro. At the end both teams tied the score 1-1. APR FC's goal was scored by Mohamed Chibi, converted by Mamadou Lamine Bah and Pyramids FC's goal was scored by Fiston Kalala Mayele.
A source from APR FC inside, says that the players and others who came with them arrived safely without any problems. The team is going to do some light exercises to tone the muscles.
APR will play Pyramids FC on Saturday this week at 8:00pm in the CAF Champions League Second Qualifier play-off.
APR FC and Pyramids FC met for the second time in the second qualifying round of the CAF Champions League, as last year Pyramids FC beat APR FC 6-1. In order for APR FC to progress to the group stage, they need at least a win or a draw of over 2 goals.
